Kick off your weekend with a Southern Decadence shopping spree at The Shop at The Collection! On Friday, September 1 beginning at 1 p.m., drag performer and DJ Eureeka Starfish will set the mood with fun, upbeat music. As you browse the store, enjoy a beer tasting with sips supplied by Second Line Brewing and a book signing with the author of Southern Decadence in New Orleans Frank Perez.

Can’t wait for Taylor Swift’s New Orleans shows in 2024? Get into the Swiftie spirit early by heading to Zony Mash Beer Project on Monday, September 4 for an eras-themed dance party! Hosted by Raising Hell Events, this daytime soirée will consist of a glitter bar by Pixie Dust Biodegradable Glitter, a costume contest, and a DJ set by Warm Advice featuring remixes and mashups of Taylor’s hits. An exciting partnership is also taking place during Labor Day Weekend! Hot Tin, the upscale rooftop bar atop The Pontchartrain Hotel, is teaming up with Bacardi to host an end-of-summer event whilst celebrating Southern Decadence. On Sunday, September 3 from 2-4 p.m., guests can enjoy free admission, live musical theatre entertainment, and swag bags, all while savoring hot dogs and hurricanes.

Treat yourself to a delightful dinner inspired by the flavors and ambiance of Miami at Saffron on Sunday, September 3. From 7-8 p.m., arrive and enjoy a cocktail hour with passed appetizers, featuring a cheese spread, mango chutney, and caviar-cheese puffs. Before the highly anticipated Southern Decadence parade on Sunday, September 3, start your morning with a lively brunch at the Peacock Room! The entertaining Kookie Baker will host a sing-along drag show with special guest Ben Childress on piano. Virgin Hotels New Orleans  

Cool off by visiting Virgin Hotels New Orleans for a fruit salad-themed pool party celebrating Southern Decadence! On Saturday, September 2 from 1-6 p.m., head upstairs to The Pool Club for fruit-infused cocktails, stunning views of the city, and other fruit-themed festivities.
